Le Concept OriSTeeL

Reinforced concrete without formwork!

The OriSTeeL France metal structure into which lightweight concrete is injected makes it possible to build walls in record time. The innovative construction process designed and developed by OriSTeeL© allows companies to achieve high productivity without investing in heavy equipment, such as cranes, or heavy and bulky metal formworks. The assembly of the construction is simple, being composed of the OriSTeeL© metal structures, reinforcements and fine mesh serving as formwork. The whole forms a composite system, entirely filled and coated with lightweight concrete. The OriSTeeL© unfolded metal structures are assembled and used like pieces of a Lego game.

The OriSTeeL© process is innovative and allows almost unlimited design flexibility. The thermal and acoustic characteristics are superior to all traditional methods, enabling the construction of green buildings and reducing overall costs.

High productivity

Construction productivity is around 15 m²/h of finished wall in TD8 thickness, significantly reducing the execution time of walls in commercial, residential or industrial buildings. The finished thicknesses of the structural work are 14 to 22 cm for the exterior and load-bearing walls with a single structure. Wall thicknesses vary from 14 to 22 cm with the 3D OriSTeeL© structures depending on the choice of the thickness of the OriSTeeL©, TD8, TD12 or TD16 metal structure. , and from 35 to 55 cm or more, for walls erected according to the new OriSTeeL© construction principle, only achievable with unfolded OriSTeeL© structures, according to precise specifications, in double or triple partitions, and lightweight concrete of variable density depending on the injected areas. No need for additional insulation for this latest version, which meets the most rigorous thermal requirements without any further artifice.
